Overview of Services

 

The Antibody-Based Proteomics Core Laboratory at Baylor College of Medicine provides innovative proteomic technologies to aid in the investigation of the role of altered protein expression and protein post-translation modifications in cancer biology. Our core's specific areas of expertise and services include the following:

 

Multiplex quantitative analyses using the suspension array system (Bio-plex from Bio-Rad) through Luminex xMAP bead technology  

 

Assays include:

  • Cytokines, adipokines, & growth factors
  • Intracellular signaling pathways

Protein profiling for biomarker discovery and differential expression 

 

  • Reverse Phase Protein Array 
  • Luminex assay
